    Thanks for the photo, any chance you can snap a pic of the lines from above, where they run down next to your water pump...

    DSC03221.JPG DSC03222.JPG DSC03223.JPG DSC03224.JPG Some pics of the 1971.same setup.the heat shield,fuel filter mounting bracket and filter are O.E.M. the line coming off fuel pump to carb goes to a 5/16" inverted flare
    fitting. the two lines from tank connect to pump with 5/16" and 1/4" fuel hose.there is also a filter at carb behind the 1" inlet fitting.

    Hey, what fitting did you use on the bottom of the fuel tank to go the flexible fuel line? I'm working on the same thing. Thanks.

    So I purchased a new plastic tank and sending unit that went in the top. I plan on just clamping a regular rubber fuel line to the sending unit.
