    Beautiful lines and perfection in that rig! I'd definitely take one just like that over my '75. I mean... they're like CJs with some extra sexy body lines in high heals!

    If I'm not mistaken, the Commando's were built on CJ6 frames and running gear.

    Frame is different from CJ-6. Mounts, humps, etc.
    ask Imadoughball if he will actually respond about his adventures putting a '6 tub on a Jeepster Commando frame.

    Certainly the outboards for the rear springs will stick out beyond the rounded rear corners of a CJ-6 body. I did not know that the profile of the frame rails is different from the CJ-6.

    That's a great looking Jeep. I'm surprised that the tires fit under the body without trimming, even with the 4" lift. Maybe there is some upward travel limiting going on.
