Finally got to replacing the clutch and linkage. Everything is back in but I have no pressure when depressing the clutch. Can anyone measure the length of their pushrod from their pedal to the bell crank?

The long road that passes through the floor? I have a couple, I can dig them out and measure them in the morning.

Sorry for the delay, I got sidetracked today.

I have 2, the first came out of my 74 before went to a hydro clutch and the second I picked up somewhere.

1st - 18 1/2" end to end with no fitting on the lower end and the fixed ball socket at the top.

2nd - 20" end to end with and end fitting and about an inch of adjustment. And 19 1/4" to the center of each ball fitting. I have not idea if this adjusted length worked or not.

Thanks appreciate the info that gives me a starting point. Sure would like to know how you got the hydro clutch work with the steering shaft and brake cylinder in the way

I'll try to get you some pics of how everything is mounted. I will say it took me two tries to get it right. Take the dash off, I didn't the first time and didn't get the clutch master lined up properly, it worked but not very well. I removed the dash for some wiring issues and realized how far off the master was and took that opportunity to fix the issues.

The steering shaft wasn't an issue, I used the ball joint hole in the clutch pedal for the clutch master cylinder to attach the push rod and drilled the corresponding holes in the fire wall to mount the master.

For the slave cylinder I used the Wildwood pull style on a custom bracket that uses the mounting bolts for the T18. The stock late CJ push cylinder should work just as well.

If you're interested I can make a copy if my firewall template and send it to you. Maybe scan and email would be faster.

Keep in mind this doesn't necessarily make the clutch easier to push, but is way more consistent.

Yeah that would be great anything would help. I have the master cylinder and slave cylinder from a cj-7 4 banger that have just been sitting. My forst step is to figure out why I have no pressure in the clutch pedal.

19.25" and 8.25" very end to very end on my 74. There are variables though like if you have a body lift, Poly urethane body mounts and condition of your front cab mounts. That should get you close if you're still pretty stock though.
