No worries. I know there is a lot of confusion about fuel injection odd fires so it’s good to be as accurate as possible when documenting the process. NorCal69 did a great job of this and his thread helped me greatly

what is in that picture you posted? I can’t see it

I debated removing the anti stall from mine but chose to leave it in. I am told you can adjust how much anti stall is applied.
Mine is darn near equal to an automatic transmission off road.... it just goes.

Yeah I know you can adjust how much it bumps the rpm. I’m not that deep into it yet but I’ll keep you posted!

Haha I know the feeling. I’ve been there.
What were your machine settings? Wire size, volts, wire feed speed, material thickness?

HAHHA. Auto set.. Its just my lack of skill. No other excuse.... But recently my 2x4 jeep frame was unintentionally impact rated! A dodge neon hit me head on drivers side frame rail and did ZERO damage aside from a bent spring and shock. Ripped the whole front end apart on his car bad enough that his door wouldn't open. I drove home.

So I guess I am ok, just not vertical up....

I mean, I could have turned it down a bit and tried to not make the weld fall out, but then I would have nothing for this thread.

I haven’t been active on here for a few weeks so here’s a little update on my jeep.

Fuel injection is still running great. I had the wires running to my crank trigger start rubbing with the ps v-belt and cause some shuttery driving but once I cleaned them up and tucked them away it was fine.

I found a good deal on a set of used dirty life bead locks and decided to pull the trigger. I mounted my km3’s onto them this weekend and balanced them with air soft bbs. I really like how these look.

We are headed into the Rubicon for my first time ever this coming weekend. So in preparation I built a jerry can holder and mounted it to my spare tire carrier. I keep forgetting to take a picture of this but I’ll try to remember while I’m packing on Thursday.

Is there anyone else from this forum that is going to be on the Rubicon this weekend?

I'm going next weds, the 29th, through the weekend. Sounds like I will miss you. Also, be safe, and travel legally, there's a new EDSO deputy up there that is checking stuff.

Well I ran the Rubicon in my jeep a couple weekends ago and I can honestly say I can’t wait to go back. We ran it the traditional way, starting at loon lake and exiting on the Tahoe side. The first night we camped at buck island lake and the second night we camped at the springs. Overall the jeep did great! No problems big enough to keep us from finishing the trail. I’m not versed in posting videos here yet but here are some pictures from our trip
On the way out once you get past Cadillac hill it’s a fair amount of just bumpy dirt road. With my tires aired down to 8 psi, my jeep ran smooth enough that the dog took a nap!

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it. We are running fordyce this weekend and wont be able to make it to the meet and greet. I’m hoping that I can’t meet up with some of you guys for the slick rock trip that’s being talked about in the trail run threads. Sounds like that one is going to be august 13-15. That weekend looks like it’s going to work for me

This last weekend a couple buddies and I camped at Meadow Lake and wheeled the upper part of Fordyce. We went as far down as the committee crossing, crossed at the committee crossing and went up to fordyce lake , then we turned around and wheeled back up to meadow lake. Me jeep did pretty good. I was having some fuel injection problems that I need to figure out. What was happening was my wideband would read start to read lean and my jeep was acting like it was starving for fuel. Those two things go hand in hand so I’m wondering if my fuel pump is on the way out. It would clear up and run great then randomly act up. I’m going to look into that this coming weekend. The rigs that I went with were a very build turbo charged 4 cyl tj and a tube buggy that makes every thing look too easy! The wheeling was great all day and I only needed to pull winch line at WH4 in one spot. When we got to WH5, my buddy with the built tj blew up something in his t case trying the hardline. Mind you he also had an airline leak and didn’t have a front locker, otherwise I think his rig would have walked WH5 with no problems. Since his rig wasn’t going anywhere with a blown up t case, me and my buddy with the buggy daisy chained together and pulled him all the way through WH5 and back to camp at meadow lake. Fordyce trail is definitely more difficult than the rubicon and put my driving skills and my jeep to the test the whole time. It was a great trip with great friends! The dog had a great time too!
