I gave up trying to find one in junk yards, my original is toast and cables were always falling out. Got my oldest to help and we still need to weld the ends and finish outside but looks like it will fit the bill. If anyone wants dimensions or how to I can post here. If you can’t find it make it. Best part is wiring in to dash lights they are functional too 21859CDF-8B7F-40D7-B541-978014BE32A7.jpeg

What I did when my plastic part failed like yours is I simply drilled holes for the cables just above the lighted indicator directly in the very lower edge of the metal dash. Much more stable mounting location for them anyway. I then cut the lower failed part of the plastic panel off just below the the lights bar/boss and left it attached to the dash in it's original location just under the cables for proper identification of the cables and their original functions. With undisturbed lights and wiring.

That is neat mount you have made, you could make one similar in design for a radio and other accessories too. They would be easy to mount anywhere along the lower edge of the dash panel. Good idea.

That's pretty neat. What make/year/model are the indicator lights from? That plastic panel was only used 1973-1975; rough handling and old plastic means it's usually broken. The controls on my '75 were broken too, but mine was in good enough shape to be repaired.

Welcome from eastern Massachusetts. First post!

This forum is for early CJ-5s, from 1955 through 1971. Your Jeep is an intermediate, 1972-1975, and there is a forum here for those Jeeps.

They are the 76-86 dash lamp set from Quadratec. I love the original and was debating about trying to rebuild it but driving at night was more of feel around so figured upgrade your lighted. I wanted the 73 since it was the year I was born and has been on my bucket list forever. So far the restoration has been fun but I have been finding parts are harder to find for the pre 76 CJ’s. Thankfully, this one was an Arizona Jeep with the original 4.2, Dana 20 and T18 so most of the original equipment was all there. My first car was a 82 CJ7 until I bought a 91 Comanche Eliminator right before joining the Navy in 94. Wish I could get all my old Jeeps back.
