Back when I first put tires on it, before the lights even came in, cleaning up after cooking dinner at a cold and windy truck stop.

buddy need some work on his mower. the m416 is the perfect little trailer for it as I can leave it in the trailer to work on it. Turns out it needs a carburetor

Leaving the job today in Yosemite, I stopped to see if I could spot any climbers on El Cap, I think I saw 2 parties up there. (Forgot my binocs). Had my work truck with the Bantam for a firewood mission later.

Lemme get this straight. You're being paid to be in Yosemite?

Yes, it is scenic, but I hate out-of-town work. Trying to make the best of it, it's almost over.

Had a big windstorm last night that took out a couple trees and generally made a big mess. We raked up a bunch of willow twigs with leaves into the Bantam:

And tossed them out for the sheep. They love that:

Mine gets pulled by the station wagon to get water heaters or drywall way more than the jeep pulls it.

Ours gets pulled behind the quad as much as the Jeeps while doing stuff around the place:

They are great trailers. Compact but well built. Useful for all sorts of stuff.

I had the tongue extended and foot added back in 2016 for an event to be able to open the JK tailgate all the way with the trailer still attached. The original post the lunette ring was cut off of and the extension attached to broke during that event. I don't use this trailer very often, and we had trail fixed it in 2016, but another event came up this summer that I decided I better fix it correctly. I bought the "receiver" piece from a company called Compact Camping Concepts. https://www.compactcampingconcepts.com/ . It's advertised for fitting an M416 trailer which is obviously similar to my MBT, but not quite the same. Holes didn't line up and I had to cut away a couple small sections at the front of the tongue to be able to slide the new receiver far enough forward to make the angles correct. Rather than bolt in, I decided to weld in and then use a couple bolts through everything for "insurance". I have a short lunette ring that will also plug into the receiver, but this set up works fantastic behind the JK for trail use. It follows it through the tight trails like it's not even there. Inside the trailer is an almost full length drawer from ARB. I can fit 3 decent size boxes next to it, and I still have space for a propane tank, water jug, etc. There's space and hanger on the front of the trailer for 10 extra gallons of fuel. The awning on the side raises another 3-4 feet before deployment, and the ARB tent works great and is mounted nice and low to keep the weight down lower and keep the 33's rubber side down on trails.

I want to completely understand you. You're informing us that ARB sells a tent and drawer that fits the Bantam trailer?

The tent fits all kinds of things. Pictured on my trailer is the discontinued Kakadu model, but I had a Simpson III on it before. Exact same footprint and mounting system. The Simspon III was fine, but it was harder to get into mounted low on the trailer. The Kakadu doesn't have the covered pull out "veranda" area so you just climb the ladder in without having to duck under the veranda like with the Simpson III. https://arbusa.com/tents-awnings-camping/rooftop-tents/ We just welded up a couple of cross bars and bolted them to the trailer sides. Tent mounts to the crossbars. That compact camping concepts company I referenced earlier make some bolt on brackets for them- https://compactcampingstore.com/products/no-weld-trailer-rack-towers.

The drawer is one of the Outback Solutions Roller drawers. I don't recall how long the one I have is, but the dimensions of all their drawers are listed. They aren't cheap and this one was a damaged return "perk of the job" sort of thing when I worked there. I also picked up the tent for a very good price. https://arbusa.com/storage-solutions/outback-solutions-drawers/

I also have the 6.5' Awning off the side that has a couple of pockets welded to the cross bars. The brackets on the awning slip into those pockets for low profile travel as pictured. Once I get to camp I have extension posts (stored in the drawer) that slip into the same pockets and then the awning slips back into the top of those extensions so it can be deployed at a reasonable height. https://arbusa.com/tents-awnings-camping/awnings-accessories/

Here's a photo from the 2016 trip outfitted with Fuel and all the things. About 500 feet after this in a sandy wash in when the old extended tongue broke off. https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/1710-what-makes-a-mud-terrain-tire/

No. Mine is military so no stake pockets. The civilian ones do though.
