BTW - Jeep also used the Chevy Nova 153, so it was "not only used in original Chevy II Novas and boats. In fact it was also used in second and third generation Novas up until 1972.

Please keep it civil. Both of you have added good information even if it is after the fact. This will help anyone searching in the future. Sarcastic remarks are not needed.

Thought I was being "civil" but re-reading it I can see how you may have taken it as sarcasm. No offense intended, just being an old "Curmudgeon".

Yeah, no reason to be sorry, didn't bother me, and I shouldn't be such a smart acre.

So it arrived. I am blown away how new it is. He said he pulled it from a head, but wow it looks new. There is an ever so slight bolt shoulder indentation around one of the mounting holes, so maybe it was installed once. Either way, I am sooo stoked to find one. Installed and it worked perfectly. Thanks for all of the help guys!

BTW, in what Jeep did the factory use the 153 Chevrolet engine?? Thats news to me.
