Cj5 With Dauntless At Auction In New Boston, Texas

Just saw this in a FB ad.

Looks rough but lots of parts there and possibly good bones. It is in east Texas which is extremely humid so buyer beware.

If this was semi-local, I’d be bidding. I think it looks worse than it really is. The tub isn’t very rusty, and most of the Jeep is there.

Does that transfer case have an extra output shaft?
Is it even a D-18? Maybe some kind of divorced unit<?>
The parking brake appears to be on the high side.

 

I dont know what those tcases are (looks like there's 3 of them) but they aren't for a CJ.
Divorced tcase with an external band type parking brake, looks like maybe a military application?

 

Looks like one of them is an NP205.
