A nice thing about doing that to the hood is that it comes off with just two cotter pins.

Oh, and you have a shackle reversal on the front. That is not stock either.

Yes it was. When I was in high school (graduated 1974) I had a 73 CJ5, 258 I6,white steel wheels, no radio, & spare on the right 1/4. Unfortunately, I have no pictures.

    Hello Tim

I have an 73 CJ-5 and the body rotted out(the firewall is gone). I have a new tub with no holes it it. I would like to know you could take some photos and measurements of the holes in the firewall?

    Thanks Mark

If you still have the old tub you can carefully remove the section where the steering column (Brake booster & every thing else) comes thru off of the fire wall and line it up to the new fiberglass tub.

This section will be about two foot long & a foot-& half high with the one corner curved. This will give you all your locating holes along with your VIN tag. (I hope this is clear to you)

    Hello

I don't have the old TUB, I replaced it a long time ago with a fiberglass one in 1984. i did not like the tub and i sold it about 5 years ago. Now i have a new metal one and it does not have any of the holes in it.

    Thanks Mark
