It want be to bad those are yj springs so there really soft, we put the front tires on late that night and it raised the the front 4.5inches from the original stance and the springs are new. I will only be able to run 33 when it's complete. I do have a question for you guys though I'm changinging to power steering and have everything but the steering shaft, do I have to change the whole shaft or just the bell on steering box end?

I would spring for a borgeson or flaming river shaft with the u-joints on both ends. They are spendy but well worth it.

Got the rear in last night with some struggles of the mammoth gas tank the PO installed now it's time to set pinion angles, high steer in the front and sway bar, measure for drive shafts and roll cage and new exhaust and long travel shocks with anti wrap bar and power steering.

Got all the new spring purches welded in place and the Reid racing dana44 knuckle for my high steer on and waiting on new driveshafts. Also ran into a issue and have to order new ends for the drag link and steering rod due to jeep tie rods want fit the knuckle and Chevy tie rods want fit the drag link.

I have no idea the PO installed it and it's kind of in my way with the rear moved back only 1inch the trus were putting in is going to hit it when it flexes. So been trying to figure out what to do smaller tank or rci fuel cell in the back. Any ideas or pics would be great

Remember to unhook the sway bar when wheeling. I have seen tons of roll overs caused by not disconnecting them.

Hum to help on highway you shoul think about adding a trac bar on the front so the axle wont move from side to side....
You should also fab an anti-wrap br for the rear.

    My 2 cents

I will get some better pics of it when I get home.
the passenger side is a Reid racing knuckle I got cheap with the 1 inch block and high steer arm then after putting it all together found we were going to have to do a d44 knuckle on the driver side because the tirod bar was further forward on the passenger side. So found a d44 factory knuckle from a friend and completed the driver side and I had to buy the d44 to d30 caliper brackets for 60 from partsmike.com. Then ordered Chevy weld in bungs and tierods from extreme fabrication, cut the poison spyder jeep ends off and welded Chevy ends in place

As far as a anti wrap bar were fabing a bam bar we located from jeepaholics.com for the rear. as for the front we have a sway bar connected and still have to test if I'm gonna need a track bar.

we cut the drag link on the knuckle side 6 1/2 inches to accept the chevy 1ton tierod and have to reem out the high steer arm to accept the end as you can see its not fully seated. Also still need to buy the heavy duty pitman arm from parts mike and add the Chevy end on the box side and that should complete the steering
