      Beth, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I remember the first time I met Pete and you, and I remember thinking here is a guy who you meet one time and are friends with instantly. That's a special gift, I certainly don't have it, so I'm always in a sort of awe when I meet someone like that. I also remember the run through the snow and ice at crabtree falls, and you guys in the M151! I think it was your son with you also on that trip.

      I have to keep this short and hope it goes through as I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. We are scheduled to return the day before Thanksgiving.

      I wish we could have met up for one more run. Take care of yourself.
