      Hello,

Would you be interested in selling the mounting hardware for the Myers doors? I just need the parts that apply to the Jeep itself as I have all the hinge hardware on the doors, but again, not the parts that apply to the Jeep. Thanks, Pat 916 719-9442

Good to hear you got w/s almost wrapped up. I will try to get in touch during the next two weeks about the springs. Work is slowing down.

This is the guys email in NY that has the jeep farm. He usually responds pretty quickly. Somewhere here I have his phone number. His name is Terry and he is a very decent guy on the phone. Definately a jeep nut.

I checked around with a couple others in this area for a windshield glass and no luck yet. The place we had M38 glasses cut went out of business. They were near the airport (I hear Enterprise rental is now where they were) so thats out.
But I was thinking... are you in a rush? Have you tried the jeep farm guy in Newburgh NY that advertises on Craigslist? My girlfriend lives near Danbury so its a reasonable trip for me to get over there the next time I go up that way. Drop him a line, see if he has a glass removed and if its cheap. and again if you are not in a rush its no problem for me to pick up but I probably wont be out that way until January.
The military guys have been getting glass from Bills Glass Co 401-480-6859 so you might call him too for a new one. Tell him you saw an ad in the RI military vehicle collectors club newsletter.
      Let me know.

Sorry, I don't have a windshield glass. If I happen to find one I'll let you know.

The Bell is owned by my son's boss.

      Cool,
we are trying to pick up this '75 this weekend. we took a real long look on Monday. It is really rough but 100% complete and 10K original miles. Sad it sat out in the ocean air in Narragansett. It is going to a friend, Glenn, in North Kingstown so we will gut it down at his place and he will have to make the decision to rebuild or scrap and search for another jeep. The price is right as a parts jeep especially with a decent 6 cyl and 4 speed T18.
Got your number here so will see what we end up with then give you a call. If your ever over this way give me a ring 401-965-8730

      Hi Sfrench,
Hey you mentioned you might have a set of rear springs? I just found a '74 CJ5 and am hooking a friend in NK up with it. He had bought a '74 new back in the day and sold it many years ago. He started looking for one to build and I found one for him with 4 speed and a ton of rust. The price is right but it needs a lot of attention. One thing I saw is the springs are all rusted so he will need to replace them. Do you still have that pair that might work in the rear of the CJ5?
We are going to drag it home next weekend. its basically untouched and original but has been outside all its life. It would be nice to find a new tub, probably at least one fender too. The miles are low and its the original owner so with luck it wont need engine or driveline rebuilds. Just a lot of disasssembly, plumming and sheetmetal.
      Let me know
      Tom

      Sfrench,
I'm in Jamestown. 66 CJ5 was in storage for a long time when I bought it. I did heads, radiator, brakes, fuel tank, lines and carb rebuild. its now running great so the next thing is to put in a roll bar and seat belts. I'm keeping the plow on but might have the springs rebuilt.
      Keeping it all stock.
