The tranny/trans is on the motor. I need to get the motor angled in the frame. Below is some picts. I used a level several places so you could have a standard reference. My assumption was the motor should be in the same plane with the frame. But I now think that is wrong.

    Anyway, picts help...

As it sits right now. I have not attached the tranny/trans to the skidplate yet. I want to use the stock one if it does not sit too low. No big deal if I need to fab one up but if I can use the stock, all the better.

The trans is sitting on the rag. But the bottom of the tranny is about 1/4" off the skidplate. In the back, it is about 2" between the skidplate and the transfercase.

Plenty of space other places. I can adjust the angle of the motor/trans/x-fer unit here.

Bubble slightly out on the frame

To get the engine in the same plane as the frame...

...I have to stack a couple of sockets...

Output referenced to a level level...

Sorry for all the picts but I wanted to give you all the information I have.....

    Thanks......

It somewhat depends on what the intake was designed for, looks pretty good to me.

I think the rear of the carb should be a little higher to help prevent stalls when hill climbing.

The carb is a Holley Truck Avenger 670. I assume the hill climbs will be fine with that carb. If ti's an issue, i can always inject it. I'd rather not but if i have too, I have too.

And the intake being level as compared to what? Should it be level when the jeep is sitting level on the ground? At what point on the frame do I measure level? It being all relative I need a common reference point. And if the carb mount must be level on level ground (assume as I referenced the mid point on the frame next to the tranny), it seems like the back of the tranny will be very high and cause driveline issues.

I was thinking it was not too bad as it sits but I want to make sure tonight before I make changes tomorrow and finalize it all up.
