spindles for full float conversion

    I thought dana 27 spindles would work with a full float conversion with the back side machined to fit the dana 44 tapered housing but the 27 spline side of the shafts doesn't fit through the spindle. The shafts are from herm the overdrive guy. Can the inside diameter be opened up without weakening it or do i need to find 6 bolt dana 30 spindles?
