So im still haveing problems getting the clutch to work. Its a LUK brand and the first time i installed it i put the friction disk in backwards. I pulled the trans and flipped the disk around. Now it takes extremely excessive amount of pressure on the pedal to move the clutch fork. Anyone have any suggestions on what i should do?

what kind of linkage? did the clutch release arm fall off the ball pivot? is the T/O bearing in correctly? Is the linkage free of interference?

Its a hydraulic set up with a 3/4 bore master and 7/8 slave. The fork is seated in the pivot correctly and so is the TO bearing.

got some pics of your set up? Your system should work. Did you kink a hydraulic line? Did you take off the slave to see if it works smoothly ? You did install the friction disk springs out away from the flywheel?

im not familiar with hydraulic setups but if you have a cross shaft part number
    642624
my cross shaft was pretty thick with paint when i bought it inside the tube where the 2 balls ride and it wouldnt let the balls rotate well until i removed the internal paint. if you have that part it might be something to check

What about the master to pedal if the pivot there isn't right it won't provide enough travel at the slave. Tarry seems very knowledgeable in this stuff

Its new and the pedal assembly is from a YJ. If i unbolt the slave cylinder from the transmission it moves easily and gets the full travel.
