I needed to remove my brake drums from my hubs and didn't want to spend the buck$ on a swedge cutter, so I thought I'd try a holesaw like I'd heard mentioned. I used a 5/8" holesaw and removed the "set" of the teeth on the inside with a die grinder. I used a drop of oil to help with the cut, it worked great!

So this removes the material from the stud and not from the drum, right?

Yes, it cuts away the splined "shoulder" of the bolt. The hole in the Drum ends up 5/8", so maybe a little. I don't have a new drum to measure.
