Not sure if this will help you out at all. My 1969 CJ5 has what I was told heavy duty springs. Both the fronts and rears have full safety leafs (Extra leaf rolled around the original) and I count looking at pictures 6 leafs in the rear and 11 leafs in the front. These numbers may not be right because the pics I am looking at are hard to count.

IIRC the width was YJ, front was shorter than YJ and rear was longer.

    2.5” wide

At rest with a solid margin of error:

    Front 36”

    Rear 48”

Thinking about using them on an early?

The front could work. Seems like they're only a couple inches shorter, and you'd need new frame brackets anyway.

Actually looking for new packs for my m101cdn trailer, they're 2" wide & everything else is 1 1/2".

    Or 2 1/2"

    I can't win :(

oh right on. how long are the springs?

I do know the Roxor rears can handle some solid tongue weight.

36", the fronts would work if'in I change the mounts. Apparently Suzuki springs fit but don't have the load capacity of the stock ones which are 9 leaves.

The diesel is pretty heavy and they are used for plows/winches etc. 2.5" 6-pack is a solid amount of spring surface area. Might be worth a go with some YJ shackles and brackets.

Since we've come this far how do you rate the Roxor ride compared toa an ECJ? Do you thing the Rox springs would be a good upgrade?

I immediately thought it rides like a little stiffer YJ. Not too slinky and not too stiff. IMO it’s a good middle ground.

I think folks looking to clock serious road miles on a rig would benefit. I assume they flex better but haven’t properly tested that out. They don’t feel squishy, which is good IMO, cuz mine’s gonna get worked lol

Have you swapped out your front springs yet? I would be interested in the old ones if you have.
    Thanks

    Nope, been lazy af lol

If you can wait, a Roxor guy is designing some brackets and shackles to use YJ springs, so the supply of Roxor springs might shoot up this summer.
