Here are pictures of the parts for the rotisserie - sorry, it's not on the jeep right now, will be again after I do some more firewall fitting and floor work.

You can see the front on HERE in my thread #26
You can see the rear on HERE in #1 and #18

This is all the parts EXCEPT the long 1 3/4" Tube I use to link them together under the Jeep.
It's just positioned with a small tube to keep them together and not falling over or being a general PITA... The brackets on the side are the mounts for both ends

I added notes to the pics with the exact measurements of the tube (lengths were in the File I sent via EMail

The vertical square that slips into these are 2"X1/8" to allow adjustment on height and balance for rotation.
This allows them to slip - I was off in the 3/32 vs 1/8 numbers I gave you before.

Hope it gives you what you needed.

A few more hours in my cart and I'll be ready to rest the Tub on it until I get around to it. Of course I have to paint it and make it pretty! I got some welding time in and that was fun! I love welding, but my tri-focals always give me Hell! I thought I had pressed the button for the large wheels, but these will have to do!
    Gotta make dinner~! be back

Looks like a great project and a solid platform to start! If you decide to replace those taillights and want to sell them... let me know. Ive been looking for a set like those!

Chuck, I had ordered a couple of HF engine stands a few days ago, and got them 20% off, so I modified them to work, but what would be a pivot point or center of the jeep for the rotisserie? I'm a good guess, but I was looking at your pics, but just not darned sure, AND, I'm still working on the height, but ran out of time for today.
Well, looks like the fun has come to an end until next week(Valentines and a Granddaughters birthday;)

I have much much longer "beams" for the length, just used this one for determining the height(which I haven't done yet), and still waiting for bolts to bolt the caster on, of course I have to paint it first;)

I'm no good at geometry and took me some trial n error to figure out the angles of the pieces! 20degrees for those wanting to know.

Well - it kinda runs along a line about midway up the rear gate opening. Just have the rotation points the same on the HF stands and square them up. The rotational axis needs to be perpendicular to the stand - or at least parallel to the ground. My HF Stands lean back, but don't know if all of them do. Also - that 2" slip tube in the 2 1/2" vertical that you should put on the engine stand will allow you to set it, use a level and test spin. One rotation will tell you if you need to move it up or down a bit. Mine's been moved several times - first it had floors - then it didn't - then just the back - now most of the front.

The center point makes it easy to rotate - but not absolutely required as you can get close and muscle it around if needed.

Gee, I'm sorry Chuck, on the stands, I cut the tubing in order to have it square, and make the length that I need it and weld it in. Thank you!!

This is your pic, I just borrowed it;) This makes sense now!!;) Thank you!!!

Finally got back to the rotisserie, almost done, except for painting it, minor adjustments. I turned the jeep to 180 degrees and there was so much loose crap, I stopped, but I'm satisfied. I can put the rotisserie off to the side, put the tub on the dolly/cart that I made and put the frame on the Maxjax and start stripping it down to nuttin;) However, heading to Florida this Friday for 4 days to visit my brother.

I used just about every part of the HF engine stands!! ;)

I put the support bar like this so I could paint the back end, work on it etc.

I did this mount to the front tub so I get to the body.

    bought these on Amazon.

Today was just kind of a clean up/organize day~ sad to be leaving:(

oh oh, I have a question!! While removing the rear drive shaft, I noticed I can't turn each wheel independently while holding the other, indicating posi trac? But I cannot turn one wheel at all while the other is held, just a little slop~ is it possible to have a locked REAR differential?

The pic below is a panned image, sorry for the funny looking floor.

The cart works well, I probably made it higher than I should have, but it's ok, rolls easily.

The rotisserie collapses down pretty good for storage: But I will be putting the frame on the rotisserie soon enough;)

Today, just removed the exhaust manifolds, entire exhaust, rear drive shaft~ then starred at it for a while;)

No, the radio will not be going back in this jeep, but notice how some idiot installed the cigarette lighter/radio~ I'm going to look for another metal dash along the way.

I'll be back on Monday and get started again on Tuesday~ gag, 4 days:(

I see the PO kept the front dump exhaust when he added power steering. That is the second one I have seen.
