76 304 V8. One of the pipes on this is broken at the base. Seeing if I can get a new one but I'm not sure what it's called, or if I'm going to need to braze it back together.

Can't see the picture. Either the host is blocking it because I won't accept trackers, or you have permissions set wrong.

    Is it this?

Timgr's drawing doesn't show the hat-shaped piece. In the dim recesses of my memory, I think that was a sort of thermostatic air-bleed device. Maybe?

There were several of them on my 360, but they confused me even at the time. Emissions control systems in those years were a nightmare.

That mostly looks like it. minus the hat shaped piece Pete mentioned. The previous owners messed the emissions stuff up on this thing pretty good. I'm tempted to go to a manual choke on this thing. But I'd also like to get it back to a decent state emissions wise.

Yep, same thing. My picture is from a '62-73 parts manual. The part was fancified as emissions requirements got tougher by '76. I suspect that hat dingus is a thermostatic valve, as Pete suggests. Makes the unit more sensitive to ambient temperatures, but in which direction I do not know.
