Well the interweb is incorrect. A m416 tub will not fit on the bantam TC3 frame. The tub is 2 inches wider than the TC3. So i had to take my $50 m416 tub and do a little plastic surgery. Cut right down the middle and then i will mark my next cuts to allow me to have a piece of one half go under the other and be a flange for me to weld to. the floor is rusted pretty good so i would have a hard time trying to butt weld it. This should be a quick little side project so i can get back to the flatfender. I just wanted to get it together so i can move it around easy, the tub sides rubbed on the tires and the thing would not roll around with ease. image0 copy.jpeg

Welded up the tub and placed it on the tub to see how it fits. It is still a bit cattywampused. That is what i get for a $50 tub.

I welded on new mounting tabs so it stays to the frame and try to tame the warping of the tub. Riveted on a patch to the one side so i had enough meat to put back on the reflector. Added some new lenses and put inside a heavy rubber mat.
This is going to live its life like this. Not pretty but a workhorse.
