    The FHead bolts right in and gives you instant HP upgrade. Te only drawback is ht whole in teh hood but can be avoided with the correct Holley carb.

    I used a similar carb on my truck for a bit. Easy to use but I couldn't find an air cleaner I liked so I switched back.

    A side draft Carter fits nicely but you have to fabricate a mount. I saw a MB in a junkyard once which had been "upgraded" to the F-head. They creatively covered the hole by welding the steel pot from a WW2 helmet to the hood. Looked appropriate for the Jeep.

    At first I thought this might have been "Lavina TN" which is at the far Western corner of TN, but the area code for the phone number is for Lavina Montana which is the "Edge of the Earth" for me.

    I kind of like the open top one with the blue hood - minus the f-head hood clearance. I've never been to Lavina before - had to look it up. I have a friend (and their family) that run a big ranch out near Grass Range and of course have been to the west in Harlowton, north to Judith Gap (windmills and missile silos), around through Lewiston and down to Roundup etc - but never been between Harlowton and Roundup. Looks to be nicely on the south side of the Big Snowy mountains. I was thinking end of the world was going to be either eureka or ekalaka as the saying goes.

    I go through Lavina everytime I go see my parents. Its definitely out there in the middle of nowhere.
