The parking brake cable under the body is rubbing against the drive shaft. I temporarily tied a strap to keep it from rubbing.

I believe this isn't the cable guide that goes here. Does anybody have a picture of how it's supposed to go? I guess I could maybe shorten the guide that's already there

Is that the OEM tub or a new replica? That guide looks homemade. I ask because my new tub did not have that yellow bracket welded to underside of tub so I made one similar and bolted to underside. I would have welded but POR15 and paint was already done.

Pic from another member but it is the same setup on mine

The tub is original but floors aren't so maybe that's why it doesn't have the bracket...

I actually don't know why does it has that big of a bracket bolted down through the floor.

I'll see what u can do to keep the cable from saging in the driveshat

Probably a stupid question: Why is the parking brake cable equalizer offset? Can't say I've paid a lot of attention over the years but the few that I've replaced have been centered.
