I'm selling my rig. It's the one in my profile picture. It's a frame off build. Fiberglass body kit from 4WD hardware. The grill, dash and windshield frame are the only remaining items from the original body. The 232 was replaced by a 360 V8 from an '81 Wagoneer. The 3 speed was replaced with a T18a J-truck trans. It still has a stock Dana 20 transfer case. I bought a twin stick kit from Karl Walck's but never installed it and it goes with the Jeep. The rears are 3.73 with D30 in front and a D44 in rear. A 2.5 in spring lift was installed during the rebuild. It is still drum brakes on all four corners but everything replaced during rebuild. I never got to the power steering upgrade. Right now it has 32x11.50x15 Cooper tires (80% tread) on 15x8 Outlaw wheels and a matching spare wheel is mounted to the tire carrier with no tire. A Bestop top was bought new for the build. Bestop high back fixed bucket seats were also new for the build. There is a matching rear seat that I found in good condition, installed as well. This Jeep was built with no heat installed. I do not have the factory heater box. I have other new parts to offer that are part of the sale and I also have a Warn 8274 winch that goes with the deal. It will need overhaul as well. This Jeep has lived in a garage since the rebuild started and has never sat outside overnight. I have absolutely no interest in this rig since our son passed away and it would be a big load off if someone would come get it and actually drive it. It needs some TLC to get it running again and ready for the highway. Plan to trailer it to where ever. There are only 2200 miles on the Jeep since the build. If you may be interested, I have no energy to figure out the photo post stuff, just send me PM and Ill email you any pictures you request. $5500. Located in Grottoes, Va.

Spud, sounds like a nice Jeep. I will let people in my circle of friends know about it. I'm sure there will be some interest, so if you could forward pictures of it, that would be great. If I wasn't in the middle of buying another one right now I would take a look myself. Certainly much closed than Denver. So sorry to hear about your son. Hope your doing a little better.

Spud, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Eighteen months ago I lost my son. Ironically, I threw myself into a jeep Cj5 rebuild to occupy my mind. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Healing will come.

Thanks guys, about all I can throw myself into is my work. It's dark when I leave, it's dark when I get home. Eat then sleep. Repeat.
