T90 trouble

Has anyone had a problem with a T90 locking up in 2 gears simultaniously??
The Jeep I bought in PA this week end will not roll without the rear driveshaft unhooked. It's also got the single stick TC and I can't seem to find a detent for neutral. I'm confused.......:? Help.

 

I had a similar problem - pull the top shifter cover off and see if the shift fork has slipped behind one of the gears - that will cause it to lock up solid.....
not that it EVER happened to me........

 

I don't think the shift top will let that happen (maybe if something is really broken) - but, if somebody took the trans top off, and didn't put the forks back into the synchro hubs... then it would be in two gears at once.

Take the top off and see if you can move the hubs so it's in neutral.

We had trouble similar to that when we put our Tux Park on the tow dolly up in PA to come here. Peter couldn't remember where N was and I'd never been around a single stick setup. We had to keep driving and stopping and trying again until we could find N. Until we did it was very tough to tow, but once we got it free, we could immediately tell the difference.
