i am trying to wire the signal stat 900 through the ez-wire fuse box to take advantage of the flashers that come with it. i can get the indicators to blink when the turn signal is on and the flasher can be heard clicking however when i apply the brakes the turn signals front and rear light up solid in stead of flashing. This makes sense since the s/t/t lights only have two filaments but is it really supposed to work like that?

Stock wiring should have 2 leads going to the turn signal unit. One goes from the ignition switch through the flasher module and then to the turn signal unit. The second goes from the light switch, through stop light switch, and then to turn signal unit so flasher should be interupting the current from the stop light switch. Make sure these are not reversed.

You should have all the right stuff for it to work properly. Do a search for sigstat 900 and look at the second post. It links to the wiring diagram that will help you.
