Broken rocker arm brace!

    What could have caused this?

    There was a lifter taping pretty bad, so i pulled the valve cover off and this is what i found!

    My next question is how do you adjust them? do you have to have a shim kit of some kind? Im a Small Block Chevy dude so i havent seen this style of rocker arms before.

    Picture doesn't work.

    The aluminum bridges break. There may be steel replacements.

    No adjustments. Just put them together.

    They are aluminum and seam pretty easy to break!

    yep, so it's important to take your time and torque them down evenly, alternating back and forth.
