Tilt Column????

    I have tried to find some posts on this but not much luck though I am sure it has been covered. I have been thinking about putting a s-10 tilt column in the 67 cj5. I need to put a new wiring harness in the jeep anyhow, prob one from painless as they have one that is a direct plug into the chevy column. Any thoughts to this??????

    I put one in my 72. I just grafted it into my existing harness.
    I had to make a custom bracket to mount the column to the dash.

    When I was finished, the basic column functions worked except the horn. HI/LOW beam switch, turn signals, hazzards and wipers.

    I did not wire the key as I had converted to pushbutton start.
