Hello again, Im looking for some advice, I want to buy the 2.5 Bds lift kit for my 69 cj5.... My question is can i get a better deal with Bob Supplee, shipped to my home or on BDS website with free shipping to a local dealer near where I live?? I ordered a different brand through some other company and waited 2 months and still no lift kit so maybe its for the better after all the people here recommending Bds(and my kids and I are ready for camping and trail riding). Im on a limited buget(but don't want to cut corners) so Im hoping someone here has this info. Thanks again...as always

I think Bob retired and closed the business. I don't think it went under.

BDS lift here, 3 1/2" I believe with slightly longer shackles than stock, on 33's:

Rides as smooth, or maybe smoother than the stock springs did. Very happy with it.

I haven't installed 'em yet, but I have a set of 2.5-inch BDS packs in the garage. Military wrap, Teflon pads, bolt-on clamps...nice stuff. Lifetime warranty too.

Have had a 4-inch BDS lift on my '78 Cherokee for almost 2 years now and it's been great. Good stuff

Don't rule out Holbrook springs http://www.holbrookspecialties.com/
They are great, probably the best part is the ride, better than my '05 TJ. The lift allows me to run 34" Interco TSL Narrow Swampers. I haven’t ran BDS, so I can't speak to them, a lot of folks use them and they perform nicely. The Holbrook spring is different, they are asymmetrical, so the fixed end of the spring is much longer than the shackled end. You do have to relocate the fixed bracket. Check them out.
