Aux Lights Behind Grille, Anybody Done This?

Googled for pics, all were late model, anybody have pics of 1 rectangle 12 inchish light, or 2 -4in
Lights behind grilel on cj.
Need more distance light for night trails. Plenty of flood from headlights, looking for more spot!
Would like to place them out of harms way, and not distract from the stock jeep look.
Any pics?

Patrick? I think he put stings of blue LEDs behind his grille.

They'd have to be some small lights not tio interfere with the air flow.

 

I like the look of no lights, except the stock location.
I think a 12-20 in low profile LED, mounted low behind grille would work?

Goina run hot straight to battery, and switch ground in dash with a toggle.

Had a 12in long 1/4 bit, so it wasn't too difficult?

 

Put a fuse or circuit breaker close to the battery to protect the long hot run. Interested to see how this works out. With the grill bars that close to the light source, you probably will not notice much dispersion of the light by the bars.

You could always mount them on top of your roll bar like some of the good ole boys in Texas or Louisiana. Can't say that I've seen any in Arizona, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there.

 

Of course you like the aux lights not showing; they'd ruin the svelte lines of your Hi-Lift jack, towing cable and other assorted junk hanging out on the front!
