    Hi Guys,
My jeep will be outside most of the time.
Any good car covers for it?
I see a few generic ones on ebay but some reviews are bad.
    Thanks

Last year I replaced the cover for my CJ-6 with another similar one: the least expensive waterproof model from Empire Covers (I suspect there are several cover companies online with different names selling the same products. Pretty sure I bought from Budge previously; their web site is the same and the cover I got this time looks the same.) These companies sell a cover for a Commando that fits my CJ-6 pretty well.

Ca $120. Similar to the one I had previously. This is warrantied for 3 years; I would expect a year or two more than that. The fabric gives up after several years in the sun.

Helps to add bungees around the frame/bumper and across the back to help the cover not balloon in the wind.

I also bought a generic cover for my VW from Costco, and was really happy with the fit and price (less than $30 IIRC). Now worn out after several years of sun and wind exposure. Have not seen these since ... too bad. I expect your generic cover isn't going to fit a Jeep well because of its height. However, they can be cheap, and I think they will provide as much protection as the expensive ones, just for less time.

I bought one for a TJ Wrangler that fits a 5 fairly well...it's a little on the long side.

It took me three tries to buy one in the last week. The quadratec one listed was not available. I’ll have to dig up what I finally found. It’s sitting on my front porch as we speak since it was delivered and I’m on vacation lol

Got this one last year hard to beat for 40 Bucks, https://www.walmart.com/ip/Covered-Living-1976-2006-Jeep-Jeep-Wrangler-Cover/252273277
I don't have a top on mine most of the time so it does pool water over the back seat when it rains hard but I'm sure if you tighten it down with some bungee cords on the rear bumper it would stop that. pretty nice snug fit, I am in So Cal so the weathers not harsh but it did well for me, I was thinking of getting another to put aside for when this one wears out but so far after 1 year it's still in good shape.
