    To all,

Are the leaf springs in the DJ5 the same as the CJ5 for a given year? My '74 has the broken long leaf in the spring pack on the driver front that someone had welded back together. I have located a couple of same model year DJ5s that I'm having some one look at today. If the springs will fit and are not flatten out like mine then I should be able to get them fairly inexpensive. Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

A side question... Has anyone cut the top off of a DJ to use as a replacement top panel for a Meyer top? They look awful similar.

    Regards,
    Everett

The rear DJ springs are totally different. The front ones are the same length but one of the eyes is reversed so they are different also. The only thing a DJ is worth getting is for the rear axle, steering column and the backing plates.
