From Bad To Worse With Broken Bolt!! Don't Do What I Did.

    I decided to go ahead and pull the motor to make this job easier. I have drilled out the bolt and drill bit parts (I had to use a combination of carbide tipped masonry bits and also cobalt bits, but it all drilled out just fine). And I have the cam removed now. I still need to remove the cam bearing. I'll send pics within a day or two, it's pretty ugly! But it will be fine with a new bearing and camshaft.

    the bearing should still pull ok. might be a little harder if you burred up the bottom. if it goes too hard you could weaken the bearing by cutting a groove in it where you buggered it up with a die grinder. i don't know if you could control all the little chips.
