Grill Wire Clips

just broke one of these while rewiring entire Jeep. Working on headlights and parking, turn etc. is there a way to replace these?

if not what have you done to secure the wires going over the grill?

 

Could you fashion something out of a P-clip? Are you looking for originality or functionality?

 

Well my Jeep is a Frankenstein so not really able to get original but I try where I can.

Yeah I have a variety pack of some of these types that I’ve been using on my build. That’s what I will probably go to if I cannot source original type. Thanks!

 

I actually used a bunch of those in my jeep years ago. I honestly don't know why, since there's like a BAZILLION holes to mount to, but I'm blaming lack of knowledge and it happening before the internet. They didn't actually stick that well, and fell off in short order

 

Small metal insulated sattle clamps.

 

Pretty sure you can get insulated cable clamps in the ones and twos from the hardware drawers at the home center. Or try an Ace hardware.

Those zip-tie mounts also come in a through-hole design.

I prefer the high temp metal with silicone like these adel style clamps

Don’t ever have UV, vibration, or temp issues, if your willing to put a hole in to mount

Thanks all. After thinking it a bit not sure if I will go with original or not now. I did just find them, I guess I didn’t look hard enough but thought I had.
