Grooved Spring U Shackles

My CJ5 still has the grooves leaf springs on the rear with U shackles with press fit grease fittings. The reason I ask is because the left rear lower fittings in the spring pushed out when I was greasing the shackle. Is there a source for the NOS or better quality U shackles because I don't want to us Omix Ada. I have a set of Omix shackles and they just feel cheap like bend and break easy.

M38A1 shackles will work on a Early CJ5? And I found these I think they might be Crown or Omix

I'm guessing you can probably make them work. They were actually better, with a reinforcing link on the 'open' end.

Point is, all kinds of NOS can be found with some research and maybe a little time.

 

I did find some left and right hand threaded bushings in the Netherlands that are NOS.
