As a point of reference: There's a Kelly on the local CL showing this morning for $1,000. Looks in good shape, no major issues I could see...

Same-same is a Meyer top for $1800. I think that one is WAY over priced as it looks like someone drove over the rear door on the bottom...

I haven't seen any on quite some time on CL around here.

I have mine in the shed, disassembled, it's been powdercoated, I have new rubber for the windows and 'gas' shocks to keep the rear door hatch from gouging a hole in my head when it falls (the OEM stuff was long gone when I got it). Glass, hardware and 'filler strip' is all there. I worked out some dents, as I'm not a body expert there's still a little 'character' in the metal and I welded a few cracks before I had it coated... I've got to get the felts for the window channels and the rubber 'trim' for the bottom of the window at the door-metal. I have stainless pop-rivets for the door skins to put those back on, and it'll use stainless fasteners to button down all the rest of the pieces. I bought 95% tint for the rear hatch and side-glass and when ready, I'll tint then install in the side panels. The handles were pocked and rotten beyond recovery, found near-replacements and all is well... I'd guess when I put it back together and on the Jeep, I'll have just north of about $1000 into it. That leaves the gas filler strip and the hinges as only 'primered' at this point since the gas strip was the color of the jeep when I got it, and the rear hinges I'll match with a shake-n-shoot white that's about the color of the powdercoat white...

I love them big rear side windows never understood why so many of the flat fender hard top had little bitty side windows some even had little bitty door windows. I'm going to be scratch building my own aluminum top hopefully next winter so I have been gobbling up any info and photos I can of all sorts of tops to help in my design.

Anyone know where I can find a pair of Kelly door body side hinges?

Go to the early CJ5 or intermediate section at the bottom of the forum and list a WTB description. You'll get a lot more viewers there. -Donny
