    It will bolt on, but will be too tall for any kind of top to fit.

    The 3B cowl is about 4" higher than the rest of the flat fenders, making that frame unique. The sheelmetal panel below the glass on a 3B is about 4" shorter than the M38. The M38 has a blanking plate/air vent centered under the glass, with room to spare.
