M38a1 Grill Hinge

    I gather the grill side of this setup is just a tailgate hinge. That seems easy to find. What is the frame side thingy called and does anyone carry it?

    It looks sorta like a shock bracket but with a square peg

    The plan was to use that nifty A1 hinge setup to facilitate a late CJ grill swap on my '57. My stocker is not only semi crusty, but also will never really work that well with the Ford saginaw setup.

    Try Matt at Quarter Ton Military (QTM) in north Georgia. He has a boneyard of old Jeeps.
