Power supply section is done. I need to get my meter and snip the extra leads off the board. The jumpers are needed for iac stepper motor control

Ive actually got a wire harness i stripped down that should work pretty good.

Finally got a chance to check the power supply section of the board for proper opperation. Found a cold solder joint on pin 20. Quick fix and all is good to move onto next step

One question for those of you that have gotten farther than me.
For running off the points you just need to build the coil - circuit, correct? All the jumper options should be done for using the neg coil trigger.
Don't need to change anything with the distributor/coil on the jeep, the megasquirt just taps into the neg side of the coil for the pulses. Not doing ignition control with ms, just fuel

Yes negative side of the coil. McRuff will you make me a TBI adapter? I've seen your work many times on this forum and it will be a big upgrade compared to my home made drill and dremel adapter.....

Almost done. I didnt bother building the vr circuit. May or may not add the parts for that.
Only question i have is whats the deal with C1? Directions say at end to make sure all parts needed are soldered on. Even points out c1 as being commonly missed. I don't see anything in the directions about it other than the parts listing?
Just add it? Not a special option part?

Sorry I haven't been by lately, so I missed your question.

It's a thing of rare beauty!

If you care - the "DIY Autotune / Megasquirt" silk screen on the front of the case comes off easily with lacquer thinner.

    Thanks tim:)

I saw the c1 on the board and in the end of instructions they point it out as being commonly missed, but couldnt find it in directions. Step 1 i think of the clock section
