Why stop there, here's a decent looking 5-ton for just $4500.
I am tempted but too many other projects.
If somebody buys it, I have a instrument cluster to go in one. :)

Can't you just park it alongside the house then? :)
Just get cargo cover, some ramps so you can park the Jeep on the back and explain that it's the carport for your Jeep.

John Rambo proved these trucks are near-invincible and a decent getaway vehicle in First Blood. :flag:

His was a GMC M135... Would love to find one as those singles on the rear axles look a lot easier to handle than duals.

    That's a completely different truck.

If you want a single wheeled M35, you should look for a Canadian built M35.

"In order to replace the vintage fleet of 1950's era M135 the Canadian Army adopted license built versions of the M35 (and M36 variant) in 1982, built in Canada by Bombardier. As of 2014, the trucks, designated MLVW (Medium Logistics Vehicle, Wheeled) were still in service. Canadian vehicles featured an automatic transmission, six wheels instead of ten (using single wheels on the tandem rear axles instead of dual wheels), and an ether-start for winter operations"

Or, there are companies in the States who offer a "Super Single" option, and a "bobbed" option.

With the Super Single Bobbed Deuce A3 variant, people are reporting over 18MPG on the interstate.

The one in the picture my son and I drove from central PA back to Ohio in March with no top. We took turns driving and switched every couple exits. Thank goodness for Gore-Tex and ear plugs.
