My stock 71 Ren II came with an under seat tank. I wound up adding a rear one.

Probably should check the Vin. If it had an under seat tank it is most likely a 70 that is only a 71 on the title.

I saw this Jeep in person when Craig was hauling it home. Ran into him at a rest stop just outside of Moab the Sunday before Easter Jeep Safari. Super cool rig!!

Yep. Like my 69 titled with a T86AA. The VIN is 67. It's pretty common to find the title a year off but two years is a bit unusual.

The Renegade II was a 71 model year offering. (the Ren I in 70). Mine came in yellow, which was also supposed to be a 71 color. Now the build date could be late 70 (post Aug), as the new model years come out early. Had I any idea at the time that only 200 of these were made, I would have kept the body, instead of "upgrading" to a 65 with a tailgate.
    Ahhhhh, youth.

Still not a 71 with an under seat tank regardless.
