Anything will fit if your willing to make the brackets and adapt the lines and sector shaft and input shaft to the components you need............Problem is I have no idea what the steering ratio is along with other particulars of that gear box.......more than likely the reason they are plentiful is that TJ owners probably have swapped them out for a bigger (to handle larger tires) and better ratio..........that box is a 3 bolt mount......which is not the end of the World.........I would suggest you do some research on those part numbers and see what info you can find as not all Saginaw's are created equal....things like input shaft spline count and OD, to make the column connection , Sector shaft size and spline count to understand what Pittman arms will fit.......piston size and ratio........the other thing that can be troublesome is these OEM boxes are made to fit into a specific space in the vehicle.......and sometimes the mount will be angled as will as the sector shaft / Pittman arm clocking may be keyed in a direction to accommodate that mounting....but that change may not accommodate your mounting.

A U-Pull junkyard is likely the best place to shop for a used Saginaw steering box. GM rear wheel drive cars from the '60s through '80s used them, among others. You can check how clean it is, as well as ratio. Some are variable ratio, which some folks prefer.

70s Pontiac firebird and TA, had a better ratio. Better road feel.
I use these when restoring AMC cars.
My box came off a 70 AMC rebel.

A '73 already has Saginaw steering. No adapting needed.

Likely you have manual steering now, which comes with the 3-tab bracket. This has been covered over and over in the Intermediate forum (where your post should be). The power steering equipped '73 has a 4-tab bracket. Stronger. You can use the 3-tab bracket, but most like to add a steering brace to the opposite frame rail.

You have lots of choices. If I were keeping the 3-tab bracket, I would use a 4x4 S10/Blazer/Bravada steering gear. These are a popular upgrade for Wagoneers, and can be found in good condition at the pick-and-pull yards. The newer gears are much more durable than the gears that are contemporary with your CJ, not needing any refurbishment, and have a variable ratio to provide a relaxed feel on the highway and be more responsive maneuvering.
