I am going to be installing a Rancho 2 1/2 lift on my ‘48. It’s my understanding that I will need frame bushings and H shackles from a Cj5. I’m having a difficult time locating them. Does anybody know where to find them? I don’t want any lift or as little as possible.

I used these 1319 ones from Warrior...simple and functional and cost effective. Note when Warrior reports 1/2" lift, it means 1/2" longer which is only about 1/4" of lift. Warrior Products - Jeep - Leaf Spring Shackle Kits & Greaseable Shackles

Lots of other options including the Omix Heavy Duty shackles which I have no experience with, but many on here recommend (and possibly one of the few omix parts that is decent quality): These come at oem height (which is 2.75" between eye centers): Suspension Leaf Spring Shackle Kit, Heavy Duty; 55-75 Jeep CJ

Also can recommend getting some made by one of our members here - McRuff - send him a message to get more info. He's made them for a number of our members with positive reviews. He also has made caster shims for many of us (including me)...I would probably have had him make my shackles at the time if I would have known at the time.

Thanks those are the ones I have been looking for. I’ll be putting McRuff on the build sheet when I’m ready for the shims.

I bought the stock "silent block" type shackles like above and replaced the centers with the poly bushings off ebay

I am R & R 'ing these Four , from my '75 CJ5 , soon. They're in excellent shape with very little mileage. They're 'H' style, 4 " O.C. I don't know what they are worth to you, but e-mail me if you want. Lockman.... ( Richie)
