Thanks for all the help getting my Jeep on the road. Super excited, now it's just time to change all the fluids and get it in tip top shape.

Brought this home yesterday, the 4th of July. Its going to be a Dauntless, SM 420 and maybe a Dana 20 with a centered Dana flanged 44 and dana 30 front. What are you thinking. Its my platform for this build. Its a 62 from Mississippi. Note the heater delete plate.

Already has 2 1/2 inch lift with new springs . rear is a Dana 44 tapered with a powerlock in it. Looks freshly rebuilt, but may be selling that and going flanged 44 instead. The F-head will be for sale as well.

Got this yesterday. 42 GPW stock besides the diamond plate and 12v conversion. Body is in pretty good shape, some small rust spots and a hat channel is rusted out.

I had a engine light (gm tbi kit) and i found a way to get the code without need a OBD1 scanner.

On Gm tbi if you jump two wire on the scan connector the computer will show the code trought the engine light. It will flash as a sequence.

So find i had a bad O2 sensor. That was the only sensor that i didn't change when i install the tbi kit on my 360 engine. Since i install it the engine light come on occasionnal time when offroading but i never worry too much about it cause is was going away everytime.

but last week the engine light come on when i was driving on the road, thing that never happen on the road before, only on trail.

So i change last night the O2 sensor. When i start the engine after the change, i had a hard time trying to start it and when it start idle was very bad. I took it for a little road test and when i got back everything was running fine. I suspect that the old O2 sensor was not giving a good reading but not enought for the Ecm to give a bad sensor error. So when i put a new sensor i suspect that ECM was trying to ajust itself with the new parameters he got from the O2 sensor, so it may explain why i had a hard time starting it and make it idling.

i did start it this morning (cold start) and everything is working fine.

Jeeps look good. There is a lot of tire outside the fender on the wagon. Does your state inspection not require the tires to be covered with the fender or a flare? Going through this with my sons TJ, we need to install a set of 7" wide flares to pass inspection.

I don't know? We don't have inspections unless you're trying to title something that didn't have one. My police buddy said that he wouldn't pull it over unless the driver was driving like an idiot.
