Front, probably a Dana 27 with closed knuckles.......Rear probably a tapered axle Dana 44 look for a big nut on the end of the axle covered with a tin grease cup................unless someone has upgraded them...............take some pictures of both front & rear pumkin covers which would help.

i see a sprung over amc 20 from a quadratrack with some kind of anti wrap shock thing and what appears to be a dana 3o with bad caster...

So it has been shortened? it makes sense that it's an AMC because I had to replace some brake hoses and they came up as AMC parts

That is some serious redneck engineering there. Why someone would go to the expense of making an offset AMC20 is beyond me.

Quadratrack AMC 20's were offset from the factory. Narrow track CJ width from '76-'79 in CJ-7's.

Hmmm, interesting. The redneck part I was referring to was the shock mount. I didn't realize that there was an offset Model 20 though.
