It looks like some one did a shackle reverse on the front of yours

what springs did you go with? OME stock height or 2.5"? How much overall lift do you have now?

I had 2.5" lift. I went with OME 3.5" kit.

How do you like the overall height now?

With the old sagging springs I don't know. I wanted something just a little higher. See how much up travel I had.

Yikes. I definitely see why you did it. Plus the upgraded ride quality would be the best part

    Scott,
I measured two frames I have here and both are 3 5/8" from the front of the frame to the centerline of the shackle mount hole.

Thanks. That is about where I put it. I guessed on that one.

I now have all the springs on and wow! It is really soft. I'll post pictures later.

The spring mount for the solid end of the spring is bolted on. I had to completely cut off the old mount behind the bumper to get the new shackle mount welded on.

When I went to put the springs on. I discover a new problem. My power steering box is in the way of the shackle. I'll have to relocate the box.

Here's with the new springs on. I bounced on the front bumper to see how soft it is. It's soft. Maybe too soft. I'll put the shocks on (haven't got to those yet. ) and see how it works.

My Saginaw boxes sit higher for my mod (CL through frame cross member), will be interested to see what you need to do.

You going to put a sway system on or us adjustable shocks to stiffen the ride on the road?

You can up the spring rate about 15% with an add a leaf too with very minimal height gain.

My steering box is mounted higher. In the picture the reason why its hanging lower is because it's hanging from the strap.

So today I talked to Rocky Road Outfitters about the soft springs. They told me I should of ordered the heavy duty springs because of my winch. They said the difference from the heavy duty and medium springs are on extra leaf. So they are going to send me the extra leafs by the end of the week.

Update for today. I welded all the spring brackets, and installed the rear shocks.
