    Ok, "Sour Apple" update...

It has been a little slow going, with a promotion at work and trying to square away a messed up department.

Parts are coming in slowly, done some mock up for the steering, waiting on a universal and a column mount for the new tilt column. Once I get the steering mounted and set, it is onto the wiring.

Been doing some little stuff while waiting on parts. I still have to decide with gauges I'm going to go with.

Your build looks great! You may have posted it already, but could you tell me specifics on your steering column and steering wheel? I love that wood trim! Also, do you have spacers on both front and rear or are you running wide track axles?

Seems to be a very very nice Jeep. Lot of complex work.

I'm running 1.5" spacers on the rear to match up with the 30 front.

I got the column from Ebay, $180 shipped, the steering wheel was about the same.

Got a little more done on the steering, once I get the HEI figured out, then I'm onto the races with the gauges and electrical!

Progress has been a little slow, because it is the busy season for me at work. Got the HEI distributor in, after changing out the vacuum advance, looks like it is going to work well. Now working on rerouting the fuel lines.

I love Txtoller's Jeep and have already asked him this question so maybe I can save him the trouble of looking it up again.

It is a Chrysler color from the early nineties called "Greenish Yellow Metallic. The Chrysler code is AC11091.

I normally like to build things my way but for some reason I think my Jeep is going to start looking more and more like Txtoller's Jeep.
