bkap Gone, but not long gone.

Geez, Patrick. You work faster on these goodies that pop up than I do after staring at it for a while. Of course, maybe that's the difference.

    Nice work.

Great Jeep, it looks well thought out. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the specifics of it, and seeing more pics as you refresh and drive it!

Lots of stuff done...Caster shims and rear pinion shims installed, transfer case rear output re-shimmed and sealed up, rear fenders undercoated......Tux badges painted/ restored today. New wheels will be here Saturday. I'm wanting to get the rest of it painted since all the rust repair is done..

I've been searching everywhere for the "Tuxedo Park IV" hood emblems. The PO took off a lot of the Tux items off before selling (both front and rear chrome bumpers, rear bench, mirrors, rear license plate light and the hood emblems) Rats!

    Looks great Patrick!

Thanks for the updated pics - also digging your new avatar pic w/ all 3 of your current Jeeps.

Any chance you could move this thread to the build section so it doesn't get pruned?

Wow. I really like this JEEP. You got 'er looking good. Really wish I had put the 10.50s on mine instead of the 9.50s. Good call on keeping the grill black also, IMO. Looks great.

Have you looked under the diamond plate yet?

Dad fixed what little rust there was, and painted the whole Jeep before he put the diamond plate on. Judging by what I can see inside the tub and rear fenders, it's just fine under it. I'll probably pull it off next year, fill the bolt holes, and repaint the whole Jeep.

Lots of little stuff, speedometer repair, rear bumper/ tire carrier work, etc. Mostly been working on the front axle build for the CJ2A.
