Decided to spray 2 coats of 2k primer on the outside to see if I missed anything, glad I did, found a couple of areas

Painted the inside, tomorrow I'll mask it off, scuff the primer and get it done. I don't know where they get the drying times from ?? It says dry to handle in 1 to 1 1/2 hrs, been over 2 hrs and still tacky, same when I sprayed the bottom

Looks good. I always poured left over paint in a cup, empty water bottle, something like that or you can spray a piece of metal. When checking the paint to see how it is drying, you will not mess up the finish.

It's empire blue. Looks greener due to low light but if u look at the hood and grill photo it's accurate. They're in my spray room with lots of light

I wish I had painted my firewall and inner fenders body color instead of black. Yours looks great.

John, if you did it again, would you paint the tub inside and out at the same time or would you paint in two steps?

Well, for full disclosure I didn't like a few spots on the inside so I scuffed it up and put another coat on it on my last coat on the outside. I didn't have any issues. If I did it again I would leave it on the rotisserie, paint the inside, let it sit a couple days then take it off the rotisserie and do the outside . To many chances on the air hose hitting or dust from your clothes getting on the outside panels when spraying all at once.

This is coming out great. I am getting inspired to go out to the barn and do more then clean it up. My 62 has been sitting untouched sense I moved it in the barn in October. Well, besides putting empty boxes on it and moving the barn cats yurt on the back. Your jeep is coming out fantastically. Hope you finish her up soon so we get to see her running.
