Are there any mirrors available that mount to the side of the windshield bracket or using the two bolts on the front of the lower windshield bracket? Seems like everything wants to use 4 holes on the lower bracket that don't exist (for a newer model year maybe?).

common practice is to drill and tap the lower hinge for mirrors
also the passenger side mirror view the through the windshield if added

Horrible picture since the mirror mount wasn't the subject. Anyway mine has two bolt mounts, I can look tonight if there is a brand or manufacturer on them.

This is kinda what I figured, though I swear I saw one at one point.

You might have the unicorn mirror product I saw. It would be much appreciated if you can find out which one you have.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

Those 4 holes on the lower w/s hinge accept a pair of small angle brackets that "pinch" a flattened end of a mirror arm. The brackets are available as reproduction, and nearly any mirror head with a stud mount will fit the arm.
