I measured twice. Ordered once. Mine are longer for the extended shock mounts.
Close to 17” Compressed and 27” extended

Couple quick things done after work today.
Replaced this u-joint. Had a little slop and I’m trying to tighten up my steering.

Put a small spring between the end of the column and the first u-joint. There was an inch of “in and out” play in the steering wheel that I’m sure was adding to the slop.

See where the tire rubs the inner wheel well? The 1.5” spacer should fix that.

Your rear shackle appears to be close to inverting. Or is that normal for the rr setup?

Several folks seem happy with the Roxor pedal setup, but the later Jeep one might be easier to find parts for in the long term. It's another option for pedals that my be worth looking at.

The jack stands in front are back behind the front springs. Carrying some of the rear weight. When on all 4s it appears correct(ish).

I used a set of hanging pedals from a YJ. It made sourcing power booster/master cylinder and a hydraulic clutch master pretty simple. My SM465 came with a hydraulic slave bell housing. I think you will have to use one of the conversion kits for your T18. I also used adapters to convert the metric slave cylinder fitting (stock 1987 K3500) and SAE master cylinder (stock 1980 CJ7 w/ iron duke) fitting to -AN fittings, then had a custom -4AN clutch line made up. Hardest part about the whole deal was correctly matching the slave cylinder and master cylinder bore sizes and then getting the whole thing properly bled.

I got the adapters from and had the line made by Pegasus Racing. They had the biggest selection of -AN adapters.

I love my old fan but it might be time to part ways. It was bent and Occasionally rubbing on the radiator, lower radiator hose and tube.

Another issue I had on the Colorado trip was the right header leaked. The muffler was also set up to close to the frame. After the jeep warmed up the muffler knocked all day. The noise was constant and drove me crazy. I cut the pipe 1/2 way thru and bent the muffler out away from the frame.

Got some high temp sealant and poked a new gasket in there.

Not happening until I get the T18 ready to install but got another piece of the puzzle today. Cut the whole thing right out of the firewall so there would be no confusion about how it goes back together. The doubler will be used again for firewall reinforcing.
    $85 out the door.

What is it out of again? YJ? I have the setup out of a 90's cherokee that I thought I could use, but I'd have to change the bracket, and the clutch is a cable rather than hydraulic.

Yes it’s from a YJ. Hydraulic clutch was the main reason. Power brakes can’t hurt.

I could hear it from my Jeep, I can't imagine being in yours all day with the noise.

Have you driven the jeep with the new wheel spacers yet? How does it handle?

Scott - Do you want picks of the two ways I setup push and pull slaves? Might help you decide how you want to go. If you want, I can then separate the parts in the Wilwood Clutch Kit and you can see the MC used.

I used braided line and AN fittings on all of my hydro clutch setups.

Absolutely. I have nothing in stone for sure.
I’ve been putting things back together this morning. Radiator, shroud, PS pump, fenders....

Found the frame cracks are bigger and found another one or two.
